Who we’re looking for

We want clear, practical speakers who can deliver short, evidence-informed sessions tailored to families. Ideal contributors include:

  • GPs, paediatricians and mental-health practitioners

  • Safeguarding leads and social care professionals

  • Financial advisers (regulated) and estate planners

  • School leaders, inclusion officers and parent mediators/coaches

  • Community leaders, experienced parents and local entrepreneurs

  • Practitioners with culturally-aware, trauma-informed approaches.

Rapid small talks — 10 minutes practical tips (lightning slot)

  • Digital Safe Home — age-based boundaries and simple controls

  • Fatherhood & family wellbeing — practical connection activities

  • Micro-entrepreneurship for parents — small start ideas and quick bookkeeping

Speak at the Afro-UK Parenting Summit — Share practical tools that help families.

Speaker Formats & Time Slots

To ensure a balanced and engaging programme, speakers may be offered one of the following formats:


  • Panel Contributor (30 minutes) — Panel discussion with a short Q&A.


  • Main Session Speaker (15–20 minutes) — Individual talk followed by a brief Q&A.


  • Rapid Small Talk (5–10 minutes) — A focused, lightning-style session sharing one practical takeaway or tip.


  • Sponsor Micro-Spot (10 minutes) — Available to sponsor speakers only. Practical demonstrations and applied insights are encouraged.


Session lengths may be adjusted to fit the overall programme and ensure smooth event flow.
